TRAINING PROGRAMME
2024
Caregiver Specialist Training Program
This year 2024, our "Caregiver Specialist Training" has been reorganized into three levels. The training will now be spread over two days, with the same senior nurses from our different branches leading the sessions.
Level 1 focuses on foundational skills, participants will learn and practice basic nursing care techniques through hands-on demonstrations. They’ll also gain a deeper understanding of dementia, including effective communication strategies and practical role-playing exercises. On the other day, the training will cover safe patient handling methods to ensure both caregiver and patient safety, with practical tips to prevent injuries.
Level 2 is geared towards more advanced skills. The first day will cover specialized care techniques for patients recovering from surgery, with hands-on practice and real-life scenarios. The second day will emphasize improving care in nursing homes, including strategies for enhancing patient satisfaction and quality care. Stay tune for our program. Can refer to registration link and register.
Overall, this updated program aims to build on fundamental skills and advance to more specialized care techniques, ensuring a comprehensive training experience.
